Strawberries time…yummy and healthy!

I just came back from my morning walk with basket full of fresh strawberries!After winter season we all need vitamins and minerals booster and strawberries are one of them. Make sure you eat them a lot during the season.The health benefits of eating strawberries include improved eye care, proper brain function, relief from high blood pressure and various cardiovascular diseases. The polyphenolic and antioxidant content of strawberries are good for improving the immune system, preventing various type of cancer and reducing the signs of premature aging. It contains a rich source nutrients including Vit C, folate, manganese, potassium, dietary fiber and magnesium.

My family love strawberries in all sorts of meals : breakfast milkshakes,smoothies, cakes,and dumplings.

My favorite breakfast is strawberry milkshake. It is great and healthy option for hot mornings. It is quick and easy way to make it. Just 1 glass of almond milk, 10 big strawberries, 1 banana, 1/2 glass of oatmeal,vanilla extract blended together with 2 tea spoons of Manuka Honey
