Good evening lovely people!:) I hope everyone is resting after busy day. I really need it every day, because I look after 800 people providing them excellent office services and dealing with queries. Relaxing isn’t just something I do on the weekends, and it doesn’t always have to come with a schedule. If I find that certain things about my day stress me out, I take action to tweak my routine slightly so I am ready to take on those stressful situations. Although it may seems like it’s “all in my head”, but I have learned over the years that mental health is very important.
If I go down regardless of the time of year or what’s going on in my life, I’ve found that the key to starting and ending every day on the right foot means relying on a few daily rituals:
Proper Sleeping – I need 7 hours sleep to be well rested and energized.
Being Active – feeling lazy and unproductive are a trigger for my mood. Making time to do something that gives me a sense of accomplishment gets me motivated.
When I know there’s absolutely no way to squeeze a workout into my day and don’t want to deal with the emotional fallout of feeling unaccomplished, I do small things like walk up the escalators rather than stay… and walk the long way home rather than ask my partner for a lift…If the weather pushes me away from outside walk I do my exercises at the front of TV using Andrew James Aerobic Exercise Stepper Machine with Resistance Bands for Cardio & Toning Exercises – Adjustable Step Tension with Digital Counter & Calories Burned Display.
Plying Music – it may sounds simple to most people, but plugging my earphones in and listening to my favourite tunes helps to focus and calm me when I’m feeling particularly overwhelmed during my workday. It’s also no secret that listening to music can trigger the release of happy hormones in our brain, which makes us feel loved and increases our sense of well-being.
Schedule Downtime – the best way to get my relaxation in is to treat it as a necessary part of life. Just like i schedule lunches and meetings I manage a time for relaxation throughout my day. During this time, I try to avoid distractions, and engage in activities that relax both my mind and body.
Examples of relaxing activities could be anything that giving us pleasure:
- Doing yoga,
- Getting a massage,
- Stretching,
- Deep breathing,
- Writing a blog,
- Exercising,
- Listening to music,
- Reading,
- Dancing,
- Doing puzzles,
- Playing with a pet,
- Talking with beloved ones,
- Commune with nature,I hope all of you find a time for a proper relax….I am relaxing right now writing to you locked in my bedroom with relaxing music on! Sweet dreams!:)
