Natural Remedies to Manage Mental Fatigue

Weekend is over and it is time to face another busy week to get well-earned rest after…

Life is getting busier and busier. People rushing, stressing about little things, dealing with many problems every day. At the end of the day we are very tired…physically and mentally. From my experience, I must admit that mental fatigue is worst then physical. It may manifests in different ways for each person. Difficulty concentrating and solving problems, anxiety, irritability with co-workers and loss of passion for work are potential symptoms of mental fatigue. Other symptoms include sleeplessness and confusion or frustration triggered by problem-solving tasks.

The effects of mental fatigue can take a toll on many aspects of a person’s life. Poor work performance and reduced productivity can result in bad grades or job loss, while irritability and low mood may lead to conflict with loved ones. Today I would like to share with you few natural and easy ways to deal with fatigue. 🙂

Fatigue is a difficult thing to manage, because you get lazy and the only thing you want to do is lie in bed. We’re very quick to assume that if we feel exhausted, we should take a nap. But have you ever noticed that if you lie in bed all day you feel more sluggish? I have tried ones… and it was awful! My head was a bit fuzzy and achy, and I felt like energy was sucked out of my body, instead of replenished! This is because over-resting or sleeping has the exact opposite effect we want it to have, while exercise boosts our energy. If you are feeling fatigued and not moving around much, you may just need a good regular dose of fresh air to rejuvenate your body and mind. As a bonus, it will feel that much better and be that much more refreshing than if you’d sat around all day and done nothing. It also improves mood, thanks to the endorphins being released, and feeling gloomy is a major contributor to fatigue.

You are what you eat Make sure your diet is reach in potassium (Avocado, Acorn squash, Spinach, Sweet potato, Wild-caught salmon, Dried apricots, Pomegranate, Coconut water, White beans, Banana), magnesium (Dark chocolate, avocado, almonds, lentils, beans, chickpeas, peas, Tofu, flax, pumpkin, chia seeds, wheat, oats and barley, buckwheat and quinoa, mackerel and halibut, Bananas, Leafy greens), iron with vit. C (Spirulina, Liver, Grass-Fed Beef, Lentils, Sardines, Spinach, Black beans, Pistachios, Raisins, Citrus fruits ),

Brain-Boosting Herbs…Ginseng Root may even protect brain cells against toxins and beta-amyloid, which is integral to prevent age-related mental decline. Rhodiola Root (rhodiola roseareduced fatigue, improved mood, and lowered the effects of stressKava relieves stress, anxiety, and poor sleepAshwagandha Root treats nervous exhaustion and prevent the deterioration of brain cells. Rosemary essential oil may help with memory retention. saffron tea is very effective for lifting mood,

Try Yoga…Yoga isn’t just a form of physical exercise, but a spiritual one as well. It

helps you calm your mind, focus your breathing, and tame inner turbulence (which can become very draining day after day.) The actual physical part of yoga, like many forms of exercise, will actually boost your energy. There’s no need to even join a class, you can do it right at home. Relaxing music and eight hours of quality sleep each night are helping to manage fatigue… I sleep 6 hours, but I try to get 30 min. boosting nap during the day. 😉

This is just alternative if you do not have any holidays booked …. If you do… just pack up your clothes and go somewhere close to the nature to enjoy and relax as much as you can! 😀
