Good day everyone? Are you thinking already about upcoming autumn and winter?
I love sunny and colourful autumn, but living in UK I can’t enjoy the beauty of the season as long as I would like to. Most of the time it is raining and grey here.
Bearing in mind lack of natural vitamin D and for many balanced diet, our immune system is getting weaker and we can easily catch a cold or flu. Our energy and concentration levels are going down. We feel tired, moody, stressed…Thinking about all of that it is good to have remedy and booster to keep going. Mine is as usual natural, therefore I have added to my natural remedy essentials Ginseng and Ginkgo.
Ginseng:
Ginseng is a slow-growing herb native to East Asia and North America. It is known for its stimulant effects on the body, but has many other purported uses for well-being and health. Although the studies on ginseng have proved inconclusive for the most part, health practitioners across the globe have used it to treat a variety of illnesses and health issues for thousands of years. In modern times, Ginseng has become a well-known supplement to many herbal remedies. The key components in ginseng are the ginsenosides which produce effects in the body similar to the stress hormones released naturally. Depending on the level of potency of the ginseng, these effects can improve a person’s well-being in a number of ways.
Ginseng is most often thought of for its stimulating effects and indeed many of its benefits are due to its effect on the body’s secretion of hormones. Ginseng is known to improve mental and physical performance over time as well as stimulating metabolism, improving stamina, and alleviating fatigue. It has also been used to relax the nervous system and lower blood sugar and also improves immune system response and encourages resistance to disease. Ginseng may strengthen the immune system in people with cancer and even enhance the effects of certain vaccinations.
Ginkgo:
Ginkgo biloba, which is also known as maidenhair, is an ancient plant extract that has been used in China medicinally to heal various health ailments for thousands of years. In fact, this is reported by Examine.com to be “the most commonly ingested herb for brain health.” Ginkgo has been widely studied for its effective anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and circulation-boosting effects. According to current research, ginkgo biloba benefits include improved cognitive function, positive mood, increased energy, improved memory and reduced symptoms related to multiple chronic diseases — for instance, it’s been used as an asthma natural remedy, ADHD natural remedy and dementia treatment. The other benefits are: helps fight anxiety, reduces symptoms of mood swings, headaches, anxiety, fatigue and muscle pain. Helps maintain eye health, can improve lbido, improves sleep quality, fights fibromyalgia, may support heart health, increases effectiveness of schizophrenia treatment, promotes healthy skin.
In the middle of my researches and reading about Ginseng and Ginkgo I have found information about natural remedies for alcohol and drugs addiction! WOW…But about this in my next article…
Have a lovely day my readers!:)
