Hi everyone!

I have not been with you for a while!

New Year, new challenges, new hopes! I have not wasted my time, yet. Busy at work, at home, meeting with friends in New Year! Sometimes I wish to have 48 hours available in a day. 🙂

I hope your days are not wasted for complaining and fighting with other people! Watching the majority of society now, I have got a feeling like watching apocalyptic World War Z movie. Scary!To manage depressing thoughts I decided to keep my mind busy with a craft hobby.

Just like healthy diet and drinking water is good for your body, having hobby is good for your mind. It is stress-free! It gives you sense of pride and relaxation. Getting the whole Family into a certain activities is a helpful way to get everyone together and give more attention to our beloved ones. Playing family games and talking in the evening, hiking in natural surroundings, cycling and reading together. Such a beautiful vision of a perfect Family. How many of you at least once a week have a family day out or do something together in the evening?

I have a habit to sit down with my Family and talk at least for an hour, every day. My daughters are 26 and 25 now. If we can’t talk in person, we text or call each other. It is kind of therapy after busy day, when you can release all your thoughts and solve the problems. Giving attention and talking to your children give them self-confidence and feeling they are loved. Do not mistake with ‘spoiling’ them with expensive toys or tablets. 😉

Hobby is fantastic option to learn new skills and perfect way to escape the daily grid and enjoy yourself. I love summer activities, but I found something for long winter evenings as well. I started homemade crafts, which I love: candle making, crocheting, natural cosmetics making, macramé, chunky knitting…

I have also involved my family to help me. My younger daughter is an Interior Designer, so she advices me about the projects. My older daughter is a Marketing Specialist, so she makes a path to display my works. It is also a great fun together!

No matter what you are interested in, you can turn it in to your hobby and enjoy your life without a thoughts that you are wasting your life!
