Hi everyone,
I hope you are in a good health and mood!
I have been quiet for a while, but very, very busy at work…with no time for proper relax.
You would expect me to say: “…I am very tired”, but I will say: “…I am just bored with my daily routine: work-home, home-work… “. I was working constantly for the last 3 month…and to keep me going, I had to boost my body with extra energy and power (no drugs! Hahaha). My four superfoods taken daily and optimism helped me to achieve that.
Some of you might think: “really…?” what superfood would help you more than proper rest and lazy day?! My answer is: morning and evening walks every day, regular meals, plenty of water, 7 hours sleep and of course my superfoods taken daily: Collagen, Chlorella, Moringa and Maca!
- Collagen in the morning: 1tsp with ½ glass of warm lemon water.
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body, and gives structure to your skin, bones, muscles, and all other connective tissue. Your body produces less of it as you get older, which results in fine lines and wrinkles. Taking collagen orally can improve skin elasticity, reduce wrinkles, and increase skin moisture.
2. Chlorella after breakfast: 1tsp with a glass of orange juice.
Chlorella is a type of algae that packs a big nutrient punch, as it’s a good source of several vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. In fact, emerging research shows that it could help shuttle toxins out of your body and improve cholesterol and blood sugar levels, among other health benefits.
3. Maca root after lunch: 1tsp with milkshake.
Maca is a relative of the radish and has an odour similar to butterscotch. Its root is used to make medicine. People take maca by mouth for “tired blood” (anemia); chronic fatigue syndrome and enhancing energy, stamina, athletic performance, and memory.
4. Moringa after dinner: 1tsp with glass of warm lemon water.
Moringa extracts might help treat some stomach disorders, such as constipation, gastritis, and ulcerative colitis. The antibiotic and antibacterial properties of moringa may help inhibit the growth of various pathogens, and its high vitamin B content helps with digestion.
Some people say routine is a killer! I agree, if we talk about long time work-marathons with lack of proper relax, or breaks. It effects our mental health! Routine is a booster, if we talk about healthy habits. It is recommended to keep us going and enjoy our life in a good health!
I just finished 12 hours shift. Hot bath with epsom salt and lavender, glass of red wine and Joe Cocker songs before bedtime. Relaxing evening before Monday madness. 🙂 I hope it would keep you motivated!
Have a lovely week everyone!
