Today I would like to share with you some useful information about parsnips healthy benefits which are coming from the roots and green parts of this infamous vegetable. We use parsnips mainly for the flavour of our dishes. It’s very rare, we use them to make a dish!🍲Did you know that parsnips is helpful in preventing heart problems, digestive issues, diabetes, thyroid and kidney disorders, obesity and insomnia. Including parsnips in your balanced diet might help your body to avoid serious illnesses! Do not ignore this tasty vegetable. It contains: calcium, copper, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, zinc and iron. Additionally, it also has high levels of fiber, protein, poly-acetylene antioxidants such as falcarindiol, falcarinol, panaxadiol and methyl-falcarindiol. Rich in folate, thiamin, pantothenic acid, Vit. B6, C, E, K. Make sure you add parsnips to your favourite soups. I do recommend carrot and Parsnips soup. Easy to cook and it’s delicious!🍲

You can use green parts to make parsnips tea. Chopped green leaves can be kept in a freezer! 🥰

Boil 1L of water. Use 2tbsp. of chopped parsnips green part. Pour over hot water, leave for 10min. and enjoy your tea through the day!🧋
